We always think we are unique to someone,
And then one beautiful morning we wake up,
Your close companion is no longer there and has fled,
Quietly and gradually,
Their heart is elsewhere, no longer enamoured with you,
Their body is clothed, forbidden to you,
Their thoughts are hidden, no longer shared,
Their feelings bind you only to the past.

But still, Hope and Optimism
Remain alive inside with Idealism,
Because the future can be renewed
If both become like before and different.
