Make my dreams’ nightmare come to an end
Let the demiurge of destiny impose a truce to this trend
For in counting my irksome ways
I’ve been kind and attentive for most of my days

From where you no longer see me as a wild enchantress
Do you ever think of all those disturbing phantasms, nonetheless?
That blinded my vision and reason
To live so many unsteady situations?

Or do you even fight, now with company by your side
Against the idyllic images of our foregone times
And the strange and mysterious sensation
That there’s a misty absence by your side, lacking explanation?

As for me, I dream of ending my nightmares’ plight
I dream of dreaming when I wake up to the light
Of not seeing you happy and serene only in my dreams
Of having to be so parsimonious with my affections and schemes.
