If Love were told to me
I’d wish it to be less tough
More like a fairytale, you see
And at the end, it’s enough

With wings around the heart
To soar with fervor high
But mostly not to fall apart
When it’s close to the brink and nigh

Soft even in the arguments
Reassuring in lack of trust
A solid oak when lost and bent
A resting place for weary gusts

If Love were told to me
I’d wish no distress to be
No weariness, no idleness
Nor lack of communication to see

Speaking in the same voice
Telling the same tale
Of two beings in a mirrored choice
Walking side by side without fail.
