By chance, I met my sweetheart
By chance, we fell in love
With each other, to become one
Having no secrets from each other.

By chance, we were attracted to each other
But this chance may have been directed
By all-knowing and mischievous forces
Puppeteers of destiny, of its lines.

This attractive and pantheistic chance
May perhaps have its way again
With the dilution of our passion
For a new round.
