Sitting on a bench,
I was watching the weather,
The time of lovers,
The time of happy people.
I remembered mine,
Which wasn’t so long ago,
Which slipped through my hands,
By her who lived it well.
I smiled for those couples,
Who formed a loop,
Who didn’t beat their guilt,
In which the stern didn’t sway.
I remembered the wave,
Of that tender and sweet world,
Where two were a circle,
Protective from the unclean.
I stood up and thought,
Of the past as
I looked to the future,
The spring that I felt, Was that of smiles.
