To understand the meaning of smiles and sighs
Without having to explain
That’s knowing and loving each other.

Asking for nothing from the other
Feeling with just a glance
Reacting at the right moment
That’s knowing and loving each other.

Causing foolish anger
Getting angry with a few well-chosen words
Then laughter always comes afterwards
That’s knowing and loving each other.

That was our daily life for so many years.
