I understand your reasons, my love
But will they always be the same?

I understand, my love, your feelings
But are they not as changeable as the wind?

I understand your worries
Even if they are harsh

I understand your doubts
They accompany me along our journey

I understand, my love, your moods
They have sounded for so many of my hours.
I rejoice in your happiness
And cry silently for your sorrows.

Throughout this journey
I have left a lot of myself behind
Because I had the certainty of our mutual destiny
And my heart knows only this refrain.
