L and J Love Poetry: a sentimental quest♥️
Trained in a sentimental quest,
Sprinkled with winding streets and maze-like tests,
Where the mind traverses trials high,
And the heart must reclaim passions gone awry.
Chivalrous acts are called poetry,
Resistance to the ease of forgetful monotony,
Clarity in forgiving mistakes,
And faith that’s hard to maintain, but always takes.
But the greatest trial is time,
That which eludes us, and steals moments sublime.
The reward is a Lady,
Once my wife, now maybe,
I don’t know if she deserves my true love,
Does she think of me as she falls asleep and above?
